Given our passion for all things natural and organic – and as advocates for allergy-free flooring –we’re always delighted when national Wool Week rolls around. Run by the Campaign for Wool (an initiative supported by HRH The Prince of Wales) and now in its eighth year, Wool Week is a programme of events, exhibitions and “interactive consumer moments” designed to raise awareness of the incredible benefits of this natural fibre, and takes place UK-wide from 7–22 October.

We’ve been championing wool for years, and we’re extremely proud to say that our 100 per cent Pure Wool Carpet is unique to the market in being entirely chemical free; no manmade dyes or pesticides are used during its production, making it a fantastic choice for anyone who suffers from chemical allergies of any kind. It comes in five gorgeous, all-natural colourways that derive from breeds of sheep, ranging from snowy Romney to chocolatey Gritstone, and also in four sophisticated striped designs in trend-led greys and silvers – Malvern, Kendal, Broadway and Ludlow – which make ideal runners for landings, stairs and hallways.

As well as harnessing all the softness, strength and natural beauty of wool, our Pure Wool Carpet offers impeccable green credentials. With all the wool sourced from sheep farms within 100 miles of the factory in the Cumbrian countryside, it has the lowest carbon footprint of any flooring we know. The carpets are then woven locally so you can be confident when you buy a Pure Wool Carpet from us you’re not only buying a non-allergenic, organic, high quality product, but you’re supported British manufacturing at its best.

Nothing beats seeing – and feeling – the product for yourself, so just ask us for samples. And meanwhile, we’ll be celebrating during Wool Week everything this incredibly resilient, naturally fire retardant, mould-resistant, totally renewable fibre has to offer… In our view, science has yet to find anything to match it.
