Q: What is your delivery time like?

In general delivery time for rugs and runners is 4-6 weeks, while cuts of carpet take around 7-10 working days. However, we often turn orders around faster than this. If an order is going to be delayed past this estimated time, then we will always contact the customer asap to inform them so they can either change products or ask for a refund.

Q: Sisal and Seagrass - What is the difference?

Sisal and Seagrass are both made from different plants - Sisal (Agave plant) - Seagrass (Seagrass reeds). The two products also feel and look distinctly different, the main giveaway is the almost waxy feel of seagrass as opposed to a more rustic feel to the sisal. Q: Can you give me a quote on one of your products?

We are able to provide this by email, however, a much faster and easier way to find this out is to simply identify the product you want and enter in the sizes yourself, our website has a built in calculator which will automatically work this out for you.

Q: Do you offer custom made rugs?

Absolutely. Just go to our Rug Creator and design one for yourself.

Q: Do you offer installation / fitting services?

We work with many fitters around the country and can help organise this for you. Simply hover over the services tab on the above menu and click installation & measurement.

Q: Do you provide samples?

Yes! Find the product you are after on our website, hit the sample button and fill out your details. We are unable to provide samples by email request.

Q: Can Sisal and Seagrass be used on stairs?

Nearly all plant fibre products can be used on stairs (Sisal, Seagrass and Coir) very successfully with no issues at all. Contrary to the widely spread myth, natural floorings are not slippery if installed correctly, in fact all of our products pass the industry standard slip tests required. There are only two ranges we would advise avoiding for stairs, these are Sisal Collossos - as we do find this to be mildly more slippy due to its pile height - and any of the Jute range due to it having a lower durability rating making it more likely to wear out faster than our other products on stairs. All our other products are rated at heavy domestic use or above and are perfect for stairs, landings and runners.

Q: Are chemicals used in plant fibre carpets or flooring?

NO, none of our natural plant fibre carpets/flooring have any chemicals added to them before manufacture or after. This includes the use of pesticides (moths can’t eat or breed in plant fibre carpets anyway) and fire retardant as they are naturally fire retardant according to the British and European standards. Even the colouring used to make their vibrant shades are created using vegetable dyes and the non-slip backings made from natural materials like chalk. Q: Are plant fibre products good for people with allergies?

Our natural carpets are all non-toxic and an excellent choice for people who suffer from chemical sensitivities, intolerances or breathing issues. There are no chemicals used in the manufacturing process and carpets like sisal, seagrass, coir and jute have been known to keep dust and fluff to a minimum while also nullifying the risk of dust mites or moths; An ideal choice for anyone who suffers with the above issues that are usually made worse with standard carpet installed.
