How to make your natural custom rug.

Step 1

Select the natural rug material you would like it made from.

Step 2

Select the colour of border.

Step 3

If required select your second border.

Step 4

Type in size of your choice with length up to 6m and width up to 4m (5m depending on product)

This programme allows you to design your very own custom rugs in either sisal or seagrass with a selection of coloured borders, large rugs or small. Once you have done this select your size and click add to basket. And there you have it, your very own sustainable rug, designed from start to finish by you.

How Do I Get a Quote?

Our Natural Custom Rug Creator automatically works out the price of your natural rug for you. Just put your sizes into the width and length input fields and select your rug inner material and rug border.

What is a Rug Border?

A rug border is the material that finishes the edge of the rug to make sure the carpet inner does not fray.

The standard width of a single border is 55mm showing on the surface. We can adjust this for you between 35mm to 60mm approximately.

When you add a double border the total width showing on the surface of the two borders together is approximately 120mm.

After you have ordered your custom rugs please let us know if you want to change the standard width by email or in the order notes.

What is the Delivery Time for Custom Rugs?

Once ordered your custom rugs will be delivered to your door in approximately 4 weeks. Often times rugs are ready sooner than 4 weeks, although in some cases they can also arrive later than this.

We always contact our customers to make them aware of any delays. Once your natural rug is ready we will contact you to arrange a delivery date. Please see our Delivery information page for more info.

How Accurate are our Rugs to The Rug Creators Image?

While every effort is made to reproduce the colour and texture of our products on this website we would recommend that you use our free sampling service to request samples prior to ordering your rug to confirm your choices. Just press the “order samples” button to add your required sample to your basket.

You can also save your design in favourites, that way once you have seen the samples in person and are happy with your selection you can order the rug from there. Please be aware that while we strive for total accuracy to any given order, any rug produced may have a slight variance in length or width up to 10mm due to the manufacturing process.

I Want a Custom Rug that is Not Shown on Your Creator.

If you cant see what you are looking for in our rug creator, be that a circular rug, shaped rug, rugs over 6 meters long or made of jute or coir then we may still be able to help.
